The fishing part
Cowichan River Wilderness Lodge Campout is a fun weekend of riverfront camping at the grounds of the Cowichan River Wilderness Lodge located at 7461 Hudgrove Road, Lake Cowichan, BC
This function is open to all club members. There are approx. 3 acres of self-contained camping (with flush toilet outhouse), situated on the riverfront with a firepit and dry area shelter built by the club members.
The Saturday afternoon is the club bar-b-que and Annual Bocce Ball Tourney hosted by Kyt and Kenzie Cuthbert at the lodge patio and back yard. It is a pot-luck dinner with members bringing a small side dish to share and something to bar-b-que for their dinner. The lodge supplies, ice, plates, cutlery, tea/coffee and condiments. All Club members, either camping or not camping are welcome to attend. You don’t want to miss the chance to win the coveted Bocce Cup!
Sunday is the Bear Lake Fishout. Pontoon boats, float tubes, small boats are fine for this day as the lake is small.
